Anti-shock sewage combination air release valve can help to prevent water hammer. It decreased the water velocity and restrict the velocity of air flow. This type of valve is generally used in long waste water transmission pipeline where may occur a water hammer. If the air exhaust out the valve too quick, the waste water will comes in very fast, too. The water will prevent the float go up which caused the valve leaking.
 
Function:

Combination kinetic air release valve provide 3 functions:

 

1. Large air release - by Anti-shock device

1-1. Decrease the air exhausting velocity to prevent water hammer.

 

2. Small air release

2-1.When the water level comes up to the top, float will be up to its close position and close the sealing arc- big orifice and small orifice.

2-2.The air (2% of solved air in water ) are continuously coming out from water and gather at the top of the valve.

2-3.The float will be driven down and let small pocket out thru small orifice.

2-4.The sealing arc will still be in close position until empty of water

 

3. Large air intake during draining of the pipeline.

3-1.Float will drop down when empty of pipeline.

3-2.Large air will come into the pipeline thru valve.

3-3.Preventing from collapse of pipeline and break vacuum.

3-4.Protect the sealing o-ring from clogging in the pipeline.
 
 
Features:

 

Spill Free.

.  Wider middle body, shorter in height.
Slow down the flow velocity, keep sewage in the body.

Drain boss at the top & bottom for cleaning.

.  Fully fusion epoxy coated inside and outside of valve body for long term services.
• Most parts of valves can be recycled.
• All internal parts are 316SS material without rusting.
• Float with a rubber sealing can be as an absorber to prohibit water hammer direct acting on the sealing arc and seat impact.
